ARTISTS and HANDICRAFT VENDORS WANTED!
Rent a small table at an insanely low price, $150 bucks for 5 days. Or the new option of 100$ for 3 days. Yes, you can arrange to share the table with other vendors, friends, and split the days between yourselves! Showcase your wares to an appreciative new market. Listen to holiday and soulful music from our sound system while you vend your wares. . Have your friends and family come by to support the arts and grow your business! We have the opportunity to create a vibrant yet intimate arts & crafts market scene that can actually help to support artists and handicraft makers through marketing and selling. Let's grow together! Thank You for applying to our Holiday Arts & Crafts Gift Market and for considering to come and sell your art and handicraft at our event. This is the very beginning of bringing our Gelato! Art Collective community to The Historic Bedford Stuyvesant Manson. We plan to hold beautiful events that can also create a market that can bring joy to the buying public and financial support to the artists. We would like to make it into a scene to support the artistic community, and local businesses, so please spread the word widely! The dates of the Holiday Arts & Crafts Gift Market at the moment are from December 20 - 24th. These dates and times might be subject to change depending on total availability of the vendors, and the owners schedule. We will notify you in advance if they do. Please indicate which of the options below best sits you. The fee for vendors is an easy 150$ for 5 days, or 100$ for 3 days. Please fill out the form below, attach at least 3 -4 photos of your work, and click Submit. Once you choose your preferred number of days option, click on the paypal button and you my use any major credit or debit card to pay. As soon as we received the notice of your payment we will send you a confirmation email that your place in the market is being held. And Thank You! Tell us anything you'd like to know in the description box, or ask a question. If the market does not attain the minimum of the 10 vendors needed to confirm the venue, we will promptly instruct Paypal to refund the money to your credit or debit card. We will also put your business at the top of our list to participate at the market in the new year, possibly just before Spring! We'll get back to you as soon with more info on Sunday or Monday! |

The Price:
The price for vendors is just $150 bucks for 5 days with a new option of 100$ for 3 days as we are just starting out, so take advantage of the low price by being part of our founding circle of vendors! Payments may be made online, on this page, which reserves your space. If you are unable to confirm by the 18th, please call one or two days before to check on last minute availability. We will post here on this page by the 18th of December, if the market event is canceled. All monies paid will be promptly refunded through Paypal. In the event the market is cancel due to lack of vendors, don't despair! It just means that we are all that much closer to realizing it in the first few months after the 2018 New Year! Description of your store and wares. When filling out the application form, please include a detailed description of what you do, what you are selling and specify how you set up your store. Indicate approximate number of items you wish to bring, how big they are, and how much ground space it might cover. Also let us know if you're working with someone ( e.g your partner) or alone. Dates and Time:
The dates at the moment are fluid as we find out from the responses we get from vendors on what works best for everyone. December 20 -24th is a general bracket, actual dates may start a day later, and additional dates may happen during the week after Christmas. However is it safe to say that Thursday Friday and Saturday will be among the final dates picked. We will confirm the dates as soon as possible. The Holiday Arts & Crafts Gift Market is scheduled currently to open officially to the public @ 1pm and finishes at 7pm. However we are getting feedback to start later and end a bit later, please check back for updates. Please bring an easy to set up and break down system to maximize your selling time. Storage: The owner says that there isn't a locked room to put your things, but that everyone is welcome to store what they want in the basement during the days the market is on. The Space: Mansion on Stuyvesant Avenue - Bedford Stuyvesant The main chandelier room is approximately 5-600 sq ft feet, with a smaller area adjacent to it. The foyer has a double staircase leading left and right to the 2nd floor. The owners names are Barry and Daniela. Vendors will be set up either in the main room or in the adjacent room. Thank You!

If you don't think you can afford the 150$ on your own, or do all 5 days on your own, please choose the option from the drop down menu above which best describes what you would like to do. If you are open to being paired with another vendor, let us know and we'll see if we can arrange it. You can also join the market with a friend.
There are at least 5 six foot tables available to vendors with chairs. We can fit 2 vendors per table as this point. If a table on hand doesn't suit your needs, you may bring a table or a small portable clothing rack and we'll find a bit of wall space for you. We advise against bring a lot of things, so select your favorite items, and best sellers. It's an intimate space, so keep it light, and portable, until that great day when the space is well known and overflowing with people!
There are no Holiday Decorations on hand at the mansion, so we advise everyone to bring a few things to spruce up their space and some of the surrounds. If the market is confirmed we'll have a meet and greet a day to two beforehand to discuss decorations.

However, our list is only but so big and in order to make this event as successful as possible for everyone involved, especially you, we ask that all vendors send out a email announcement to as many people as they believe to should.
They best way to succeed is to let people know they are a part of a scene we all wish to create at the space. This will help to bring new markets and a potential source of income to everyone involved.
We include flyers you may use if you'd like. one for email, and the other, if available online, a printable format that you can easily print out and cut up to make several dozen flyers you can hand out during your daily journeys.
This is one of the absolute best ways to bring people to see your store, and they connect directly with you. The mansion is on Stuyvesant avenue, off the Utica avenue stop on the A train.
As It's a main thoroughfare for people going to work and coming back home, we expect most of the market shoppers to be walk ins. We wish to take advantage of that by placing posters or flyer along the road where people can see it and leading them to the market.
